It appears that spring has sprung early this year and everyone is certainly enjoying the warm and dry weather. Please remember that open burning is not permitted within the Township. We have had several serious brush fires that placed our firefighters and our residents property at risk. Please do not open burn and enjoy the remainder of your spring.
The Trustees would like to remind our residents that the decorations from all Township Cemeteries must be removed by Friday April 30, 2021, so that our crews can begin spring clean-up and prepare for the Memorial Day Ceremonies.
Thank you Calvin Sigley for his 32 years of dedicated service to our fire department. Our community is a safer place because of your service.
The Trustees attended the 7/17 Credit Union Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony this morning along with representatives from 7/17. We are so grateful for the investment that 7/17 has made in our community. Our residents can now complete banking transactions locally again at the new Express Personal Teller Machine located at our community park.
Thank you to 7/17 Credit Union for their generous $2,000 donation to our Township fire associations. The donation will be used to purchase much needed equipment and gear for our firefighters.
Thank you Michael O’Connell for your 18 years of dedicated service to our fire department. Our community is a safer place because of your service.
Our fire department recognized Steve Badurik from the Butcher Block this evening and presented him with a fire helmet for all of his contributions to our community.
Thank you Steve for your generosity!
