Elected OFFICIALS

Steve’s current term began January 1, 2018.  He has served as a Weathersfield Township trustee since his appointment in February of 2009.  Prior to being appointed as trustee, he served on the Weathersfield Township Zoning Commission. Steve is a 1995 graduate of Mineral Ridge High School and a 1999 graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science.  

Steve currently serves as Deputy Administrative Assistant and Special Projects Coordinator at the Trumbull County Engineer’s Office.  He keeps active in the funeral industry when called upon. 

Steve lives in Mineral Ridge with his wife, the former Stacie Donchatz, their daughters: Megan and Madeline, and dog Henry.  

He enjoys spending time with his wife , attending his daughters sporting events, and doing projects around the house.  Steve and his family are members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mineral Ridge. 

Rich has been elected to a 4 year term and has served Weathersfield Township, previously as Chairman of the Zoning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals. 

Rich has spent 30+ years working in the Construction Industry, working and traveling across 37 of the 50 states, with every facet of construction. He is currently a Senior Project Manager at Al Nayer Development & Construction in Pittsburgh, PA. Rich lives in Mineral Ridge, with his wife Melissa (Longwell) of 25 years, his daughter’s Alyssa and Alexa, and Skittles their dog. 

Rich is a member of St Mary’s Church, and also a member of various building trade associations and organizations. 

Ed was elected to his first term as a Trustee in November of 2021. His term officially began on January 1st, 2022. Ed is a lifelong resident of Weathersfield Township and a 1990 Graduate of Mineral Ridge High School. He is a 1995 Graduate of Youngstown State University, and in 1999 he earned a Master’s Degree in Administration from Westminster College. 

Ed has been a High School English Language Arts teacher in the Howland Local School District since 1996. Throughout his teaching career, he has also coached football, basketball and track, and he currently serves on the Trumbull County Coaches’ Association Executive Committee. Ed is also an active member in several local and regional professional education associations.  

Ed lives in Mineral Ridge with his wife, Carlene. They enjoy biking on the trail and spending time with their niece and nephews. Ed and Carlene attend St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mineral Ridge.

Patrick was elected in November of 2023 and began his term on April 1st, 2024.

Prior to being elected, he served on the Weathersfield Township Board of Zoning Appeals. He is a 1984 graduate of Mineral Ridge High School and a 1988 graduate of Kent State University.

Patrick generates all monthly, quarterly and annual accounting reports for the Township.  He prepares the Annual Budget, the Permanent Appropriations and the Revenue Accounts for the Board of Trustees.  The Township uses the Uniform Accounting Network (UAN) through the Ohio State Auditors office.  

Patrick is also the Corporate Information Systems Manager at Glunt Industries Inc. and oversees their 4 locations in the area. 

Patrick is married to his wife Diana of over 35 years. Their son Zachary passed in May of 2019, their daughter Sabrina lives in Astoria, New York. They have 3 very happy dogs.
